Excellent guest house

Pros: Portmellon cove guest house was a lovely place to stay and Sarah and Roy made you feel at home and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent with such a good choice. We enjoyed the lovely view whilst having breakfast and also from our room called Lanhydrock. The garden was lovely with plenty of sitting places. The room was comfortable and clean with a well stocked mini fridge.

Cons: It's quite a steep walk up hill to the main amenities in Mevagissy.

We had a truly wonderful stay

Pros: I loved everything, the only small issue which I forgot to mention to the host was that the toilet seat moved a bit. Everything was really excellent.

Very relaxing and peaceful.

Pros: The breakfast selection was excellent, food cooked beautiful, selection very good, setting excellent.

Cons: There was nothing I can think of that I disliked. The garden was beautiful and interesting, plenty of seating, The house was high standard decor, and very clean.

Fantastic location

Pros: We stayed in the Eden room which was very spacious, with a great seating area, and a large comfortable bed. Nice view of the sea from the patio doors. Everything was well organised and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Good parking available. Lovely choice of breakfast. Although about a mile, it was a nice walk into mevagissey.

Pros: The property was amazing. Way beyond expectations. The views from property were just stunning. Beautiful gardens and peaceful surrounds. The rooms were very comfortable and beautifully set up. The breakfast which was included was wonderful. Roy and Sarah’s friendliness and hospitality unmatched.

4 night stay in idyllic Portmellon

Pros: The Portmellon Cove Guest house is in a fantastic location overlooking the bay, it's a 5 min walk to the new refurbished Rising sun pub on the corner of the bay. It's a 20 min walk over the hill to Mevagissey Harbour witch is worth the trip. Sarah and Roy were lovely hosts, the breakfasts we had were lovely every day. Our room was very spacious with a comfy bed, comfy 2 seater settee, large wall mounted TV, large bathroom with bath and shower. Lovely garden with large seating area at the top looking down on to the bay. Spacious car park at the front too.

Cons: The very narrow road between Portmellon and Mevagissey that's why we walked.
