Truly felt like a home away from home.

Pros: Every detail from the decor to the hospitality felt so welcoming and attentive, which made our trip so wonderfully relaxing. Julie & Patrick were the perfect hosts, the stay couldn’t have been better!

Pros: The breakfasts and evening meals were exceptional. Beautiful location and the hosts were so friendly. It was lovely and clean and the rooms were very comfortable, I definitely recommend and would love to return.

Cons: Everything was perfect no dislikes.

A relaxing, clean, quirky place with warm hosts!

Pros: What’s not to love about this property. Its decor is quirky but works well with this house. We stayed in the torrent room. It was large and the bathroom was huge! The views outside were amazing! Once again the decor in the room was gorgeous. All electric sockets have been tested. Plenty of outlets in the room too! Immaculately clean. The beds are treated for dust mites which is great as I am allergic to them. The hosts Pat & Julie are fabulous and make you feel welcomed from day one. Pat cooks the meals fresh & on sight, you can definitely taste the difference. We can’t recommended it enough. We will be back soon. Not something we ever do but how can you not when you have incredible hosts, it’s so beautiful and relaxing.

Pros: It was very quiet and restful, in a characterful and elegant house. Being very close to Liskeard station, it is an ideal base for exploring, without the press of tourist crowds. Breakfast was generous, varied and of high quality.

Cons: Not really a criticism but a thought for the future is that on site electric car charging would be of benefit to an increasing number of guests.

Pros: The Pencubit House has so much charm and character that you feel absolutely in love with the place. Amazing setting in beautiful and quiet surroundings. The breakfast is superb!

Pros: Pencubitt House is exceptional .. no other word for it. We were warmly welcomed by charming hosts Patrick and Julie and the accommodation was really comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The house itself is in a very convenient location, and is absolutely charming, really quite beautiful. The public rooms are exquisite, and the food is absolutely superb. This establishment is indeed a very special place ... quite simply, a diamond in Cornwall's crown. We would return in a heartbeat and would most certainly highly recommend.

Pros: Perfect. Lovely Victorian house on the edge of Liskeard. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Made to feel welcome right from the start. Superb freshly cooked breakfast and very enjoyable evening meal (pre booking is necessary).
