Pros: What a truly delightful escape for our 28th wedding anniversary! The Mill Lodge provided the perfect setting for a memorable weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beautiful view of the garden and pond from our private patio – it was an idyllic backdrop for our celebrations. The lodge itself is exceptionally well-equipped, ensuring we had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We were particularly impressed with the top-quality bedding and towels, which added a touch of luxury to our experience. However, what truly made our stay outstanding was the incredible hospitality of our host, Bee. She went above and beyond, surprising us with a lovely anniversary card and banner, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch. Bee's kindness didn't stop there; she also assisted me in finding a local florist to deliver flowers, making the surprise even more special for my wife.

Hidden gem

Pros: Beautiful spot, lovely to wake up to the sounds of birds and in the middle of nature. The Lodge had everything we needed including cooking facilities. Comfy bed, everything was very clean and owner was really friendly.
