George and Grace the new owners were extremely helpful and made our stay very enjoyable.

Pros: Our room was very clean and the view to the beach was brilliant. Good location. Breakfast was very good and we ate in the bar of an evening. The locals made us feel very welcome.

Pros: The location was ideal for peace and quiet tucked away in a fold in the cliffs.

Cons: We had everything we needed but for an evening meal because of staffing shortages. That said the staff were prepared to cook snacks and laid on a pizza night for visitors and locals.

Love it!

Pros: Beautiful clean and modern rooms. Tastefully decorated. A stone’s throw from the sea! The manager was great - very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Pros: The room is really very nice and very clean. The personnel is very friendly and the owner is a very nice smiling Lady. The situation next to the beach in a quiet village is really amazing.

Super hotel, staff and time spent!

Pros: Everything! Rooms are really well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Location is great for a quiet getaway (there’s the pub and a cafe and that’s it!) but it’s in easy reach of plenty of places for day trips etc. Staff (especially manager Louise) were EXCEPTIONAL. Nothing was too much trouble and despite the restaurant being (temporarily) closed, due to staffing issues she made sure we were fed one way or another, in fact we’d timed it well with a pizza weekend for the bank holiday which went down a treat. Not had a stay so enjoyable, entertaining and welcoming for a long time!

Pros: Room was lovely, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were really friendly and the pub had a lovely atmosphere. Perfect for walking the south west coast path.

Pros: The breakfast was served on time with good quality ingredients. Proper coffee and tea in a teapot. You chose your time and what you want for breakfast the day before. Nothing was too much trouble. It was so good my son and girlfriend who were working in a nearby village came for breakfast.
