Cobble Cottage

A wonderful cottage to stay, would recommend to friends.

Pros: Very well thought out clean accommodation and facilities. Nice layout to enjoy cooking. Excellent location, superb walks on your doorstep.

Cons: Very minor things, the bath tap moved a little and the bathroom sink didn't drain as well as it should. A non stick (wood or silicone) spatula would prevent guests from scratching the non-stick frying pans.

Lovely cosy cottage with everything you could need

Pros: Comfortable, generously equipped, great location, great little garden (after steep climb).

Cons: We hadn’t seen the particular design of key safe, so clear instructions would be useful. When we wanted to load up on our last day someone from a local business had blocked the street with his car (there was a builder’s truck blocking access from the other end)and told us no one was allowed to go down there except the owners of the Oil House. He did move but if it’s not officially permitted then guests shouldn’t be told to use it.

The cottage is a charming Cornish dream in the most beautiful location.

Pros: The cottage is spotless and comfortable, but also beautiful and charming. The beds and linen are very comfortable. Thank you so much for having us, and preparing it with such care. We really appreciate it.

Cons: I don’t like leaving!

Pros: This was our third time at the Cobble Cottage, which we always find clean, welcoming and comfortable.

Lovely homely cottage in a good location

Pros: Lovely cottage - really comfortable, homely and very clean. Nicely decorated and very central location for Boscastle Harbour near some good walks and places to eat or take away. Everything you need available for a stay. Would definitely return.

Cons: Wasn’t sure how to get some of the storage heaters on upstairs but actually it was warm enough anyway, and that could’ve been worked out if really needed.

Pros: Very cosy cottage, everything you needed for a break in Cornwall. Very clean and nice touches...fresh flowers,bottle of wine and milk in the fridge. Bathroom is small but adequate, shower is fine. Very peaceful and in a perfect location tucked behind the main road. Bit of a pain that you have to pay to park and remember to pay from 9am but, hardly a deal breaker. Would recommend staying here .

Perfect property for a short family stay.

Pros: stunning property, very clean, great location. Very comfortable stay for a family. lots of lovely touches, such as welcome basket. Would definitely stay again.

beautiful cottage - beautiful part of Cornwall

Pros: the property was beautiful and well maintained. perfect break from the city.

Cons: not so much the property itself but it was off season so it was pretty expensive considering the stay was in the off season - nothing was open. we stayed in March. most shops were closed, museum closed. only things to do were walks if weather allowed or the local pub. not on the property owners but also maybe worth a price rethink to fill on the off period

Ein toller Urlaub in einem gemütlichen Cottage

Pros: Ein hübsch eingerichtetes Cottage in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Es gab eine schöne Terasse oberhalb von der man über den Ort schauen konnte. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und alles war sauber. In der Nähe gibt es einen großen Parkplatz, auf dem man ein günstiges Wochenticket ziehen konnte. Es gibt einige Shops, Cafés und Restaurants sowie ein gemütlicher Pub, das Cobweb Inn, in dem man auch gut und günstig essen konnte. In den beiden kleinen Lebensmittelläden im Ort sowie im Farmshop gab es fast alles zu kaufen. Für einen Großeinkauf konnte man z. B. nach Bude fahren. Schön fanden wir auch die Nähe zum Küstenwanderweg. Tolle Natur mit spektakulären Aussichten gab es so direkt vor der Tür. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit im Cottage.

Cons: Die Kommunikation mit dem Verwalter Sykes war leider sehr schwierig. Zum Glück gab es aber vor Ort die sehr nette Housekeeperin Ila, die unsere Fragen beantwortet hatte.
