St. Tinney Farm

Serene in Serenity.

Pros: The host was perfect and couldn't fault Simone she was very helpful and friendly.

Cons: The lodge was beautiful and modern and comfortable it was very clean too, I couldn't fault it except for one tiny niggle, the fridge sounded like it had a chicken inside it! 😄 But we couldn't hear it in the bedroom. It did perplex me for a while as I thought the noise was from outside! 😂

Exceptional luxury lodge.

Pros: Everything. The lodge is absolutely lovely. Its clean and comfortable and was in a quiet location.

Cons: Need hooks on bathroom and bedroom doors. Otherwise no issues.

Pros: Everything. Absolutely beautiful location and wonderful owners. Nothing is too much trouble. So relaxing. Everything needed for a wonderful holiday.

Amazing holiday

Pros: Had a lovely stay our 3rd time we stayed in a bigger lodge very clean had everything for comfortable stay kitchen well equipped beds comfy. Sofa was comfy large tv in every room . Fishing is amazing fished everyday lost count of how many was caught . Food was fabulous in the st tinny arms can even order to your lodge . Swimming pool stayed open for first week in sept so we had a swim lovely warm water . Close to lots of dog friendly beaches we had another lovely holiday in Cornwall

Cons: Nothing to dislike only thing I can think off is looking at the hot tub and could not use it but we knew it was the owners before we went

Lakeside lodge

Pros: Everything. The lodge we stayed in was wonderful. Plenty of room for a family of 4, clean, modern with a lovely view over the lake. This was the third time we've stayed and will hopefully come back next year.

Excellent location and great facilities. Had a fantastic time, helped by the weather

Pros: A great find. Spacious and well-equipped holiday cottage. Kids loved the heated pool and games room. Convenient pub on site to get food without having to book. Well located to explorer the dramatic North Cornish coast

Cons: Not the owner's fault, but when signing up to use the cottage's WiFi, I got caught in some sort of subscription trap for a shady media service. Didn't realise until I returned home and discovered a charge on my credit card. It was difficult to get my money back from the company (Allhourcare.com) who had billed me (had to threaten a chargeback through my credit card company). As I said this is nothing to do with the owners, but I understand it is a common trap that can be in place when signing up to use WiFi - so just a warning

Family holiday

Pros: Excellent place for our family holiday. Great location and facilities. Emaculate accomodation with everything you could want. Beautiful setting with the lakes and pub onsite serving good food. And a bonus with the outdoor heated pool. Would definitely recommend and hope to return. All in all wonderful.

Cons: Nothing to speak of although not a fan of synthetic duvets.

Pros: This was our second visit to Tinney Farm, our first being three years ago. The site is still as lovely as we remembered it. Beautiful tranquil location which is completely relaxing. The heated pool and games room was well used by our two young boys and we ate on a number of occasions at the Tinney Arms on site. The food is well presented, tasty and very reasonably priced. Our accommodation was comfortable, clean and roomy. The family and staff who run this site are all very friendly and helpful and are to be congratulated on all the hard work they put into making this business a success. We will return again, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Lovely place with heated pool and a pub!

Pros: Spacious accommodation with comfortable beds. The children loved the pool and games room. Is adults loved the “Tinney arms” with reasonably priced food.

Cons: Nothing about the property. Lodge next to us let their dog out in the morning which barked and woke us a couple of times.
