Captains Quarters

Really enjoyed it, great location, fantastic stay.

Pros: Property was clean and tidy, in a very convenient location for Charlestown Centre, and well decorated with all required facilities in place. Beds were comfortable, parking provided some nice additions like biscuits and Prosecco were a nice touch. Also, were able to accommodate us without any issues, with very short notice, about an hour and a half.

Cons: Minor issues - Radiator in the larger bedroom needs bleeding so no heating in there, towels, although clean, matching and plentiful, were perhaps a little small. Neither of these things were a problem for us however as we do not having heating in our bedroom at home, and we had brought our own bath sheets as had been burnt by previous hosts on other properties before.

Pros: Fantastic property, ideal for us to stay in as a family.

Pros: Good location and very comfortable. All the facilities were lovely and a great touch to the seaside. Loved the shower 🚿

Cons: House was lovely, poor flowers in the garden looked 😔 but all good bar that.

Pros: Lovely cottage, with all the facilities you need, beautiful setup, and great location in easy walking distance to beautiful Charlestown Harbour and drive to places like Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. Great communication before arriving. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Pros: Clean comfortable good location for exploring the coast and quiet.

Cons: No blackout blinds in bedrooms 2nd bedroom could do with a chest of drawers and a mirror. Cafetière would be good addition to kitchen.

Pros: A good base for a stay in Cornwall. House was very comfortable, clean with very good amenities.

Cons: Property has a small shared driveway which was troublesome at times to access with cars parked on the road. Four O’clock check-in is a bit too late!

A great place to stay in a great location.

Pros: The house was beautifully decorated and fitted out. The beds were super comfortable and the host responded promptly to messages. The kitchen was also well equipped with everything you could need. We were just a short drive from The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and a short walk to Charlestown harbour where we spent lots of time in the wonderful museum, during wet weather. A fabulous place to stay!

Cons: Parking was tight but we managed in our small car.

Perfect location in the cleanest house!

Pros: Key safe made it super easy to gain access, house was an absolute delight with everything you’d ever need. Location is excellent and being able to park on the front was high bonus. We loved it and will for sure return.

Cons: That I did not book another few nights ! Next time I’d take a travel blackout curtain but that’s due to me having a baby and not an issue for everyone.

Pros: What a beautiful place to stay the Captains Quarters was perfect for my family for our special birthday weekend celebrations, spotlessly clean , decor was stunning so comfortable and even welcome Prosecco and chocs tray on each bed ! Thank you so much 😘
