Stylish cottage in the heart of town

Pros: Great location in town and also in the heart of Cornwall. The cottage had everything we needed.

Cons: Parking wasn't always easy and had to park away from the cottage most of the week. Managed to get a spot on the street on the last evening.

Pros: A gorgeous little cottage in a beautiful village. Easy walking access to the river, shops, restaurants and pub. A great base to also drive to all parts of Cornwall. The cottage was reasonably equipped, although no coffee or condiments supplied. The gift of chocolates was a nice touch.

Cons: The listing says there is parking on site, well there is sort of but you don't find out the exact details and possible issues until after booking and paying. We didn't get to use the street parking outside the cottage as it was always full with other cars. We had to park in the community centre parking a short distance away, but not convenient to then have to lug suitcases up a hill to the cottage. I feel more detailed information about the parking situation and the fact that if you can't park in the street, that you need to be able to walk up a hill, should be given up front so people can make a more informed choice as to whether the property suits their needs or not.
