We had a wonderfull time, but we have a strong historic connection with the area.

Pros: For 2 people looking for a quiet break from the hustle of life the cottage was very good. The wi-fi worked well if you do need to stay in touch though.

Cons: The lane up to place is very narrow with high embankments, walls and hedges on each side and having many blind corners. You need to drive it carefully and be prepared to suddenly meet oncoming traffic and back up if neccessary. This can be said for many Cornish lanes though. Experienced drivers should have no trouble.

Quiet and relaxing with nice coastal walks around the Roseland peninsula.

Pros: It was quiet and peaceful which is what we wanted. It was a lovely old cottage and a good size for us as a couple. It was comfortable, well equipped and in a very quiet location but only a short drive, or ferry ride, to the surrounding attractions and villages. Would recommend and definitely consider staying again.

Cons: Would have liked some way of drying clothing, either a clothes line or clothes horse.
