White Acre's Holiday Park

Amazing!

Pros: Everything was fantastic, perfectly clean and comfortable. Beautiful view over the lake. Host was great at keeping in contact and letting us know about things, even putting the heating on for us so it was warm on arrival and sending us a video of how to use the sofa bed. Cannot fault anything, had a great stay, would definitely recommend and stay again. Oh and the shower is great! Quite rare to stay somewhere with a lovely powerful shower. Thank you very much, we'll be back.

Pros: Very comfortable caravan with amazing view. Park side is located in beautiful area. Kids loved walking around the lakes.

Pros: I was very impressed when we first entered the property. It was very clean, and prepared with care. My family and I found that the park itself is in a good location for exploring other nice areas by car. We personally did not use the on-site facilities, or lakes for fishing. The accommodation, however, is set in a very nice location overlooking one of the lakes. The host was very pleasant and efficient. I felt that if we had needed to report any issues, they were contactable. Overall, we had a very nice stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the accommodation is very well presented. Pros: Loved the location. Perfect view, looking out onto the lakes. It had all the required kitchen utensils and TVs in the bedrooms as well as main living area.

Cons: It was a shame that the air conditioning was not working as it got very hot in the small bedroom at night, during the warmer weather. This made it difficult for the children to sleep in that room. Also, one day there was a problem with the water (there had been a leakage and the water was brown) and because our property was being let out privately, White acre/Parkdean staff never told us. Consequently, we had bathed in dirty water and used it for a short while before realising there was a problem. Having spoken to the neighbours we were later informed not to use the water. We could have been very sick and were lucky that someone bothered to tell us. Moving forward, I feel the Parkdean staff need to ensure they tell private owners about problems such as this, otherwise there could be some serious consequences.
