Fantastic rural holiday

Pros: A wonderful, clean rural site, bungalow was spotless. facilities had everything you need for a self catering holiday. Lots of great info provided on walks, bike routes and local places to eat out. A small site shop with local produce. Staff were friendly and provided a great holiday experience.

Pros: Just about everything was great with the only exception being the chairs in the living room which were too firm to sit on for any period of time. Otherwise though, we had no complaints whatsoever.

Cons: The chairs in the living room were in need of extra cushioning !

Beautiful surroundings and spotlessly clean accommodation.

Pros: The bungalow was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped, with a good oven which is rare in holiday homes! The beds were comfy. An extra heater was provided as it did get chilly while we were there. The surroundings were beautiful and so peaceful - trees surrounded the property and one whole wall of the living room was glass, so we could watch the squirrels and birds. We were given a very friendly welcome and the information book in the house was helpful too. If you're after a quiet base for your Cornwall adventures, suitable for young families, and at a very good price, this is a great place.

Cons: The sofa and living room chairs were nice to look at but very uncomfortable sadly. It was a real shame because it was such a lovely room looking out into nature and we wanted to feel more relaxed to soak it all in. The WiFi was a bit patchy but this really wasn't a big deal to us.

Lovely value for money holiday park. Perfect 👍🏼 will return again I hope.

Pros: Location of the holiday park Setting of the place Value for money Shop on site. Pay area for kids. Free range chickens and pigs on site. Couldn’t fault it really. It was perfect for what we paid considering we got a simple bungalow rather than the lodge.

Cons: No waste basket in the living room. No mop available in bathroom / kitchen Outside landing light didn’t work. Very minor stuff. I didn’t raise at the time as it was not a game changer.

Pros: Newly refurbished, super clean, with all amenities required. Lovely grounds.

Cons: Nothing.

Great Location with poor facilities

Pros: Beautiful location in the woods, Clean inside, Detached property, many windows, kitchen appliances and cutleries available. Overall confortable furniture and spacious rooms.

Cons: You will be charged additionally for Towels, bed sheets, shampoo, etc.. as they are not included, No room service available along the stay so you will also have to purchase other stuff like toilet paper, water, sugar, tea, etc. At the reception there is a shop that works only a couple of hours during the day time so you may have to travel away to get some toiletries or simply to get your breakfast or a meal. The entrance door handle was not functional on arrival but the on site staff fixed it quikly on our request.

Pros: As soon as we arrived at the place, my family loved the area as its quiet and there is a play area for the children, the lodge was clean and we are able to cook.

Great stay

Pros: Very beautiful location. Very close to Bodmin where are plenty of shops and restaurants if needed. Also around 30min drive from beautiful beaches. Lots of different activities for kids nearby ( like a longest slide) Very clean inside, everything you need is there at the property. We rented the bungalow and were surprised about the size of it inside. Very quiet. Is a playground for kids with football area, swing and other. Piggies and chickens are there to view as well. Also you can buy their eggs from the local shop.

Cons: Need to bring your bedding, toilet rolls If you want to wash your clothes, there are washing machines and driers, but need to put 50p coins. When we tried to do that it wasn’t taking coins as was full. When we mentioned that have been advised to choose another option (shorter circle, would be great if anybody just emptied the box of coins instead)
