Fabulous location, great outdoor space, clean cosy rooms
Pros: Great location Traditional Cornish pub Friendly Great breakfast
Cons: No plant based milks available, just take your own if you are planning to stay. Not a major issue but most establishments cater for this nowadays.

Pros: Superb breakfast lovely and hot and local ingredients. Lovely weekend stay. The evening dinner was excellent best fish and chips ever. And great atmosphere in the friendly, welcoming pub bar with wide range of drink selection, lots of local brews and cosy open fireplace, nice and warm inside on a stormy, raining wintry night.

Second visit and thoroughly enjoyable.
Pros: Breakfast was superb on both days. Cooked to order and delivered hot and substantial. The pub atmosphere was friendly and warm. Beer good and pub food incredible. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom very clean
Cons: TV in bedroom perhaps would have been good but certainly not a problem. Internet in Whitehouse was a little unreliable but again not problematical.

Great situation for SW coastal path serving great food by friendly staff.
Pros: The property was well kept, clean and fresh. The room had its own radiator and we didn’t go cold at all. The pub was a lovely old local, with very friendly and helpful staff, the food was delicious. We couldn’t fault our stay. And it’s the best situation for joining the SW coastal path to either St Ives and up or down towards Sennen or lands End.
Cons: The only thing was there wasn’t a tv in the room, which was fine as we spent more time down in the bar area which we wouldn’t normally do as we like a tv to unwind and switch off. But it’s not really a deal breaker as the staff we so lovely it was nice in the bar area.

Excellent comfort and welcome in lovely setting.
Pros: We love the set up of the pub right next door and the access to the White House kitchen space for drying coats etc. When we visit our son and granddaughter it works perfectly for us. Room is warm, very comfortable and clean and the food in the pub (breakfast and dinner) excellent. Proper dog friendliness too.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Booked a night's stay before we'd heard of storm Goretti, and arrived just as it was rolling in. Enjoyed a few beers and a good meal in the Tinner's arms pub - cosy, roaring fire, friendly staff & locals. Then a comfy night in the adjacent White house. The power went out overnight (we'd been warned it might due to weather), that didn't stop staff giving us a great breakfast in the morning cooked on the Aga. The storm had blown down trees and power lines leaving many roads closed, we were given advice on which roads were passable to continue our journey. A memorable visit! Cheers.

Ideal cosy break.
Pros: We both really enjoyed our stay. Everyone who worked in the pub, the accommodations and the breakfast room were so friendly and welcoming. Excellent and generous breakfasts and the pub meals were brilliant too.
