February 2 day break

Pros: Loved the location, the signature double room with private access was superb, being able to both sit in front of the big picture window staring at the sea was fabulous.

Cons: The main outside door stuck somewhat, so access outside of the pub opening hours was a bit of a struggle. So needed my husband's strength when late back or going out early. It's only the signature double that uses this door though, it wouldn't be a problem with the other rooms. Room only had one teabag, I'm sure the pub would willingly provide more but I always have my own as prefer decaf.

Pros: Breakfast was superb, the location is excellent right on the harbour / beach

Cons: I asked for, and paid up front for 2 x rooms with a seaside view. Only one of the rooms had that. The hotel said they couldn't control requests through booking.com, but said they would refer back to you (booking.com) to refund me the difference, which has still not happened

Easy to find, comfortable clean cosy room

Pros: Sea view room very spacious and comfortable. Was nice to have a separate entrance from the main pub so we were able to go out and come back at whatever time, it didn’t matter if it was out of ordinary opening hours for the pub downstairs. Really easy to find location, staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The only thing was the noise from the pub downstairs could be heard in the room (appreciate we did stay on a Saturday during the festive season so spirits were high) the noise wasn’t too loud but would be annoying if you intended on staying in the room rather than going out.

Perfect place to be at Christmas and all year round

Pros: Right in the middle of mousehole looking over the harbour..cosy room..the staff were amazing..really helpful..the breakfast was fantastic and we had a Sunday dinner..the best I have tasted..would definitely stay again

Good ambience, pub have good food, we enjoy the live music and very nices employees! Very recommend

A lovely place and great atmosphere

Pros: Perfect location and just a beautiful place to be.

Cons: Steps are a little steep up to rooms but we didn’t mind

excellent me and my wife love staying in the lifeboat the staff are always very polite and helpful.

Pros: cooked breakfast was excellent...my wife would have liked more choice in terms of fruit and yogurts

Cons: we stayed at the lifeboat in 3 times this year in room with sea view which was excellent...have looked to book for next year but the price increase for the stay was quite high so may just book 1 visit next year...

One to remember!

Pros: We had a fabulous time at the lifeboat inn. We arrived at 11am and ask about check in early and the staff had no problem with this and let us check in straight away. That was check in four hours before check in time. This made our stay very enjoyable from start until finish. The view was superb and breakfast was tasty. Thank you to the staff at the lifeboat inn for making our stay one to remember.

Great views over the Ocean

Pros: It is a lovely place with views over the water. Our room is upstairs with a great view and a lovely bathroom. The staff helped us to get our luggage upstairs which we are very grateful they did as my husband is not great with using stairs.

Cons: You need to book a taxi in advance from the station, they do not have taxi's at the St Ives station. We did not know this and had to walk up the hill and down steps with our luggage to get to a pub where they then kindly contacted the taxi for us. If you are young you can walk from the station to the Lifeboat Inn it is not that far.

Pros: Brilliant staff food location , will be back next year
