Shepherds Huts at The Cornish Arms

Great place to stay for a short break.

Pros: Great location for peace and quiet, outlook and convenience of having the pub on your doorstep.

Lovely quiet stay in a beautiful location.

Pros: Lovely location, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Patio area was very comfortable.

Really enjoyed our stay. Loved the quaint nature of the Shepherd hut. It had everything we needed.

Pros: Furnished to a high standard. Very close to the Cornish Arms.

Cons: No switch beside the bed to turn off the light.

Perfect place to stay in St Merryn

Pros: The pub food is delicious and the breakfast was particularly good. The huts are very cosy with absolutely all the home comforts you could need. We walked from the huts to the beach and local restaurants/ bars.

Cons: Really loved everything. Nothing to not like. But if we're being very picky, on the Sunday we arrived there was a lot of noise coming from the pub garden in the afternoon. But after 7.30pm it quietened down. It was a bank holiday though so we weren't surprised.

Immaculately presented in a great setting.

Pros: Our hut was beautiful presented with all the Stein touches. Simple decor, and immaculately clean. Bathroom was wonderfully supplied with Jill Stein products, there were two robes provided and slippers. We particularly loved the size of the fridge and the hidden full length mirror in the cupboard. For a small space, we had everything we needed for our short stay. We also loved the two outside chairs to relax in with a glass of something in a private setting.

Cons: There was some slight water damage on the paint work under the kitchenette sink but that was not something we were not too concerned about. As wear and tear will happen with so many visitors using the hut. It did not detract from our experience.

Pros: Very modern compact & bijou luxury accommodation with everything you need especially loved the complimentary bottles of Korev beer a very nice touch 👍🏻 Staff in the pub were excellent so friendly & helpful & the breakfast was top quality. We will return for a tranquil break in this beautiful location soon.

Cons: Not enough mirrors in the hut.

Pros: Quiet location. Comfy bed. Dog friendly. Had a Lovely delivered wiid fired pizza at the cornish arms.

Cons: Not a lot of space to exercise your dog.
