Would definitely be back to stay, beautiful location, well presented and best nights sleep I’ve had in ages

Pros: The location was amazing shepherds hut was warm, comfortable, spotlessly clean.

Cons: I loved hearing the river at night, bed was super comfortable and nice and warm

Relaxing . Lovely little place and quiet .

Pros: How quiet and secluded it was . Very compact but lovely setting .

Cons: No facilities and no one around on site . I know its winter months but could be a bit cheaper in winter months.

Pros: They very kindly accommodated my Standard Poodle for which I was very grateful.

Cons: I arrived after dark, and found the surroundings could be better lit.

Pros: Fantastic property, really clean and the bed was so comfortable! The owners were really friendly, welcoming and polite- they even called us shortly after checking in to make sure the heating was working correctly.

Pros: good quiet location close to Truro but in an entirely rural valley. Good location for exploring west Cornwall.

A fabulous stay in such a beautiful and peaceful setting.

Pros: Set in a beautiful environment, creating a peaceful stay. The lodge was large and had all the equipment for us to produce meals. If looking for suggestions, I would have paid extra to have some basic food supplies in stock on my arrival. However, there was a shop a short drive away so not a problem. It is a shame the swimming pool was not available to us, however we only stayed a couple of nights so probably had no time to swim. Overall we loved our stay, loved the place and team and would definitely recommend.

Cons: Swimming pool not available to us but a big deal.
