The Blue Palms - Fistral Beach

The location is on point, comfortable, affordable and welcoming.

Pros: The property was great, lovely to have an area to sit out if required. The living area and bathroom were ideal for what was required. We were also provided with a welcome bottle of wine, tea, coffee and milk. Very welcoming.

Cons: Like all of it, nothing negative about this property.

A great base to experience Newquay!

Pros: Superb location with enclosed, personal outside area and parking available. Equipped for eating in and a large, comfortable double bed. Informative and helpful communication with host. Thank you!

Cons: Not a criticism of the accommodation but probably the genereal area (as stayed in a very modern apartment several weeks earlier and experienced the same issue) in that the TV signal is a bit temperamental. So if you're someone who wants to relax with a good film or something, I'd suggest taking your own device.

Pros: Great location 3 mins from the beach and only a 10-15 min walk from town. Beautiful garden to sit in and relax. Huge comfortable bed and good bathroom.

Pros: Great location, great little apartment, just down road from fistral beach, very welcoming owners, comfy bed and sofa

Cons: The only thing I would say is I ended up with a huge bruise on my leg from keep catching it on the corner of the glass unit where the sink is in bathroom so could maybe do with something to stop this round the edge apart from that had a great time couldn’t fault it owners were lovely. Didn’t want to come home!

Pros: Very close to the beach, a short walk to the town centre – perfect location. Beautiful garden and a real holiday feel. Everything you need. Will definitely be coming back, also the space for your board if you want to keep it with you overnight

Cons: Nothing really. If we’re being extra picky, having some bbq charcoal on site would’ve been handy, especially since we didn’t have a car

Cosy and comfortable

Pros: Loved the location, parking, large bed, beautiful garden with seating to use, barbecue (even though we didn't get to use it), the provision of things like kettle, microwave, coffee and milk, a bottle of wine, fantastic. It was nice, comfortable and quiet for sleeping The information given was clear and to the point, check in and out was simple and easy

Cons: There was nowhere to dry wetsuits and swimsuits and we are here to enjoy the sea, I really struggled to cut a loaf of bread as there was no bread knife Personally I'm allergic to air fresheners but I know other people probably like them. I didn't understand why there were saucepans but there was nowhere to use them? Check out at 10 am feels too early.

Would definitely love to stay again.

Cons: Being picky there was a slight damp smell in the property. Wouldn’t put us off going back in the slightest

Pros: I like all facilities and place is wonderful, close to a Fistral beach, the garden is so good. Aaron, the host was very attentive to me and my son

Pros: I loved it, but clean, I really loved the place situated perfect for the beach, I was clean my only problem was no kitchen sink didn't feel like comfortable drinking water from the bathroom, I'm a big water drinker and not a fan of plastic bottled water, other than that perfect, beautiful x

Pros: Neben den neuen Appartements in der Straße wirkt das Blue Palms wie ein gallisches Dorf im römischen Reich. Ein üppig grüner Garten mit Liegesesseln, Grill und kleinen Kunstwerken in allen Ecken vermitteln ein Gefühl, als hätte man beim Betreten des Grundstücks eine Zeitreise in die späten 60er angetreten. Der Charme setzt sich auch im Appartement fort. Einrichtung und Flair der letzten 5 Jahrzehnte vereint ergeben eine Surferbehausung, die sicher nicht perfekt ist, aber man verzeiht kleine Unannehmlichkeiten gerne. Es passt irgendwie an diesen Ort und ist nichts für Leute die Geradlinigkeit und sterile Sauberkeit schätzen.

Cons: Ein TV mit Smartapps und ein Kochfeld wären schön. Bei einer solchen individuellen Unterkunft hätte mich ein persönlicher Kontakt sehr gefreut.
