Beautiful hideaway within easy reach of south coast, Eden Project & Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Pros: The Old Barn is beautifully tucked away behind Bosillion House with access to a lovely garden area with seating. All we could hear were the birds. The lounge/bedroom is spacious and comfortable with beautiful decor and nice finshing touches such as the large doormat with shoe bench so you can sit down to change your shoes.
Cons: There's no cooker or sink in the kitchenette so you can only prepare basic meals and you have to carry the washing up bowl to the bathroom. That said it's not a big problem once you get used to it!

A wonderful stay, the hosts were lovely and the apartment was perfect. If in the area again would definitely stay here
Pros: Everything was perfect, the bed was particularly comfortable, the unit was amazing with separate kitchen and bathroom, and nice gardens, plus there was on site parking.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: This was the best accommodation we have used in a long time! Everything was so carefully thought out and the apartment was gorgeously done. We were here with our baby and the owners had provided everything we might need for our stay. The rooms are beautifully done and really feel luxurious. We all slept wonderfully too. The gardens are gorgeous and the outdoor seating is a treat too.
Cons: Nothing at all.

Pros: Meet by host on arrival and facilities explained. The apartment was clean and spacious. In addition to the usual beverages and toiletries, a small loaf of bread and pint of milk was provided on arrival. An information folder was available with details about our hosts, the location, how to work the TV and other electrical appliances, places of interest in the area, and places to eat. The grounds of the house were well maintained. Even the pets made us feel welcome. Would highly recommend this venue and location as it is pretty central within Cornwall and all the tourist attraction are within a 60-90 minute drive from Grampound which lies between St Austell and Truro.
Cons: We only have positive feedback about The Old Barn. But be warned if you have not visited Cornwall for a number of years, you might be surprised by the cost of parking. I would suggest a daily budget to £10. Also, bear in mind that the step gradients become more challenging with age 🙂

Superb… we will most definitely be returning!
Pros: Such a charming place… we were greeted by Guy and made to feel extremely welcome. We also had the pleasure of being visited by both cats in the evenings and a visit from one of their wonderful dogs (I had told Guy that this would be ok and they would be welcomed). The Old Barn was very well presented, clean and homely. A quiet location, that was in a great spot to travel short distances: St Ives, Falmouth, Fowey, Mevagissey.
Cons: Having to leave!

Peaceful enjoyment
Pros: This is by far the best staying in Cornwall last August. Super nice and well organised flat (part of a farm) surrounded by beautiful garden/country and peace/silence. Friendly and helpful owners, highly recommended.
