Last hurrah of summer.
Pros: The perfect place to stay on the farthest side of Cornwall as bases. Grocery stores are only a few miles away. Self catering but also have a pub/ restaurant next to it. If you want to do the BBQ, just bring your own BBQ grill. Love Wheal Tor as we are located at the end, cul de sac. We love our stay there. The lodge is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children only.
Cons: If you want more comfortable sleep. Bring your own pillow.

Great lodge in a beautiful location
Pros: Lovely lodge in a great location. Our toddler loved seeing the bunnies out the window of the Lodge every morning.
Cons: Next time we would get one of the lodges with a hot tub.

Excellent overall, will definitely be returning!
Pros: Great facilities on site, really nice restaurant, great little pitch and putt golf course which was at an excellent price - overall great experience and the cabin area feels private.
Cons: Restaurant on site owned by someone else closes in the afternoon and it would have been the perfect time to sit outside with a cold pint!

Fantastic place and location. Relatively short distance drive to town and to get to the major attractions. Very quiet an
Pros: It was clean, comfortable, quiet and very relaxing
Cons: Nothing to dislike honestly, but it would have been better if back garden was secluded.

This stay changed my perception of the south - and would move here in a heartbeat.
Pros: Upon arrival, was met by the owner of the restaraunt. Guided me to the lodge (we were able to drive directly up to it, but weren't 100% sure initially) and was able to book us in for food (we arrived early evening on a Sunday). Got to the lodge and as well as it being spotless, there was a folder prepared for us with information about the property and local sights and amenities. Had a good chat with the owner who showed me around the other parts of the property as well as the adjoining foot/rugby golf courses. Was refreshing to not just be a lodger who was there to line the pockets. Aside from that, found the travel to other areas really easy and relatively quick. For groceries & fuel etc, a large Tesco Extra supermarket was only a 5 minute drive away, the coastal town of Porthleven was only 15 minutes away (with free parking after 4pm). Lands End and St Ives were barely 45 minutes drive away (avoiding small single track roads).
Cons: Wasn't long enough. Initially the sat nav took us past the entrance, which, if i'd taken 2 seconds to look, i wouldn't have missed.

Pros: Beautiful view overlooking golf course and countryside. Perfect for visiting local beaches and attractions.
Cons: Not enough storage for clothes in bedrooms. Shelves needed in bathroom to put toiletries on and another cupboard in kitchen to store food.

Lovely stay!
Pros: It was lovely & clean. We loved the location. The park was great for the kids. We loved that the kids had a separate bedroom. And being able to park just outside the lodge was a lovely bonus too
Cons: The restaurant on site was very over priced. We would have eaten there more if it was more reasonable. Nice enough just too expensive and not family friendly enough

Pros: Super Lage um von hier aus Ausflüge zu machen. Nähe Helston für Stadtfeeling und Einkaufen.
Cons: Größe der Betten in der Lodge.
