Wheal Amelia- Beautifully Fitted Wooden Lodge Helston Cornwall

Pros: Lovely location for competition in falmouth. All amenities available. Comfortable beds. Nice shower room.

Cons: Noisy road nearby. Noisy blind in bedroom when window was open. Kept tapping in the wond so gad to shut the window, msking the room hot!

Perfect weekend away in Cornwall

Pros: We had the best few days in Cornwall, perfect location for the seal sanctuary and we also went to Falmouth and St Ives, lodge was great, brilliant grounds to play, parking outside, clean comfortable staff were fantastic and the restaurant was very nice, fish and chips were 10/10

Pros: Fantastic place to stay, had everything you needed to make the stay comfortable. Comfy beds and a good shower room and kitchen with all the basics. We also used the restaurant where the staff were so accommodating as we had our dog with us and made a table up for us in the bar, the food was delicious and really reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend and will probably stay again in the future. 10 out of 10 from us. 💕

WHEAL AMELIA

Pros: Spacious, clean and the extra thoughts of supplying towels, bathmat, teabags, coffee, sugar and milk was a welcomed bonus. Having original time of late check in and being able to check in on a day not usually seen as a check in was appreciated

Pros: The lodge we stayed is was right opposite the play equipment which was absolutely perfect for my 6 and 11 year old. They had the best time.

Pros: The whole setting was absolutely perfect, very idyllic. Accommodation had everything you could want for a family stay. Extremely cosy and homely

Pros: Our second stay at this site within 6 months. Perfect for visiting nearby Helston, Porthleven and beaches. Beautiful view over golf course. Clean, modern and spacious accomodation. Warm and a very comfortable bed.

Cons: Nothing really. Maybe a coffee table to put drinks on. Also just to point out that this lodge has high stools and a kitchen bar and would not be suitable for someone elderly.

Great place to stay and would highly recommend.

Pros: The property had everything we needed and was well equipped. There was plenty of activities for us to do as a family and the staff were brilliant.

A clean, comfortable, quiet place to stay

Pros: Immaculate property, nice quiet location, comfy beds. Plenty of space for 2 adults, 2 children and our small dog. Staff were helpful and quick to reply to queries. They even put up a Christmas tree for us. Would absolutely recommend and stay again in the future!

Had a relaxing stay at Wheal Amelia and enjoyed exploring Cornwall.

Pros: Was perfect as a base for our holiday, it was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay, it also has a couple of supermarkets nearby. It was In a great position for us to explore Cornwall and I would definitely come again.

Cons: The only thing that I felt could have been a little better was the sofa, it was a bit uncomfortable. On the whole the property was great and was how I expected, and in my opinion was good value for money.
