Pros: The location is perfect. Our room was very clean and comfy, with a view on the harbour. The owner, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very homely. The breakfast was super, and many locals choose the place for meeting in the morning. A local painter, Mark, offers very good on demand painting courses coupled with your stay at the House on the Props. It was a full immersion in the real Cornish life. We would recommend it highly, if you are looking for a genuine experience.

Pros: The location is perfect. The room was perfect. We had the harbour view room, and that was having a live picture to watch all day and night with all the lights reflecting on the water,perfect to just chill. Great choice of pubs serving great local produce within 500yds.

Cons: Coming home!

Pros: Incredible find. Loads of character, amazing view and lovely staff. Breakfast very nice.

Pros: Picturesque location and good value for money compared to other local properties. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast.

Cons: Bedding was clean but old and tired. Beds not very comfortable. Be aware that the parking station for the whole village 750 metres away is expensive and only takes cash.

Pros: A beautiful location and a wonderful breakfast, everything home made. The staff were friendly and polite. We also had lunch on one of the days, a very tasty fish Chowder.

Cons: The bedroom was lovely with a picture postcard view. The ensuite bathroom which was very clean and I'd say newly refurbished was very tight on space

Very pleasant stay in a cosy little place right at the harbour of a beautiful fishing village.

Pros: Great location, traditional and distinctive building, cosy room and eating area, delicious breakfast, very friendly people.

Cons: Poor sound insulation in the rooms but you kind of expecting that in such an old traditional building. No bathroom ventilation though.

Pros: What a fantastic and lovely stay we had here. Polperro really is a special place. From arrival we received such a warm and genuine welcome. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Claire and all her staff. Our room was clean and very comfortable. We appreciated the quirkiness of staying in 300+ year old property full of rich history. What a view from our window. Our daily included breakfast was an unexpected treat, fresh and cooked to order with a good variety of choices. Our favourite was the local made yogurt served with fresh fruit and honey. If you are wanting a stay that feels like a home away from home with genuinely kind and lovely people, this is the place for you!

Cons: A very small bathroom but as the building is 300+ years old can’t be helped. The room itself was very spacious.
