Our stay was perfect

Everything we could wish for at Downfields

Pros: Fabulous hosts, Sharon & Phil. Breakfast was really good. A good variety of fruit was already available, but Phil went out of his way and got me bananas. Bed was super king size with an Emma mattress, so comfortable. We even had a small decking area outside our room.

Pros: Amazing breakfast . Room was very clean and bed super comfortable . Sharon (the owner) is very nice and makes you feel home. The structure is in a residential area 5 minutes drive to St Ives .

Pros: The hotel was awesome. Rooms very spacious. One of the best breakfast. The host treated us well

Couldn't have been better!

Pros: Perfect location, with excellent links to St Ives via walking or by bus. Room was lovely and clean, and the host Sharon couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The breakfast was top notch every morning, with a nice selection available. And the coffee was excellent. We stayed in the main house so I can't comment on the cabins but they seemed cosy enough. In general the main positives were the wonderful host and the perfect location. Parking was pretty good too which if you visit that part of Cornwall in the summer you will realise how important that is. The room was nice and clean and the bed was massive and very comfortable.

Cons: The room was a little on the extra cosy side, but as you're not spending a huge amount of time in it, that really doesn't matter much at all. I think a lot of the room was taken up by the massive bed, which was only a positive after full days exploring the Cornish coast.

Great location & comfortable stay.

Pros: Stayed in the one bedroom log cabin which was private with an outdoor seating area. Plenty of room, clean and comfortable. A good location to get to Carbis Bay station. Great breakfast.
