Cute cottage in central location
Pros: Great location. Right in town yet with interesting garden. Good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat within walking distance and about 25 mins walk to the sea. St Agnes is very accessible and a lovely friendly village community. Good cottage for a couple or small family. It was interesting to learn about previous artist owner and the creation of the garden. Good sized fridge and freezer and plenty of space. Good WiFi and TV.
Cons: Parking outside front door is very tight as is access from the street. Best to go through the car park and bring a small car. With only one loo and bathroom, it’s not suitable for couples. Linen was a bit basic compared to most holiday lets these days. It felt a bit impersonal only done through an agent with online info and no physical welcome folder from owners.

A wonderful get away, in beautiful Langley Cottage, in an historic town on the Cornish coast.
Pros: A local slice of history in the middle of Sr Agnes. Everything was lovely and just what we needed, from the magical garden to the beautifully decorated Langley Cottage. It had everything we needed and a very quick walk down to the beach.
Cons: Nothing at all. Exceptional communications with the staff. We felt most welcome and had a wonderful time.

As described - good location. Close to local shops. Ideal for our walking holiday.
Pros: Tucked away, but with easy access to the village. Good living area. Bedrooms all good.
Cons: Difficult to get a larger vehicle to the property. No instructions about heating - not particularly warm and could not increase the heat.

Lovely, clean, spacious cottage in heart of village - with minor access issues to be aware of
Pros: Beautiful and spacious cottage in the heart of the village, with a very historic past and interesting garden! Very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable lounge area and lots of dining space. Generously sized and comfortable bedrooms with plenty of towels. The quirky garden was an interesting point of discussion as well as being great for relaxing with a book. Opposite the Spa shop, so very easy to grab any groceries you might need. There is a lot of cottage information available but it is all on line. Some guests may prefer a folder - which is what I have usually found in other similar properties. I also love the village and everything it offers.
Cons: Parking is a nightmare and the access lane is really tight - but guests are warned about this and there is a public car park nearby. There are quite a few steps in the cottage such as between the kitchen and the living area or on the landing. I booked this cottage to be in the heart of the village with a relative who is older and finds walking on uneven surfaces challenging. Maybe other reviews haven't mentioned this (as I wasn't aware of it previously), but if you have older guests with you who have any kind of slower or impaired mobility, this could be an issue. Equally, the garden is accessed via some uneven steps, so the same issue applies. We also had problems getting in. The first key safe was jamming and I had to phone for help. I was using correct code but it only worked if you jiggled it a lot. The 2nd key safe isn't easy either as the numbers (black on black) are hard to read.
