Tyacks Hotel

A pleasant stay, friendly, helpful staff and very good overall value for money

Pros: warm, clean comfortable room and bathroom with bath.

Cons: some external noise from the street on Saturday night and noise from the disco until midnight. Some boiling water to make tea at breakfast in the breakfast room would be nice.

Good Value - would use again

Pros: Breakfast was great. Room was clean and for the money, more than adequate. Staff were very pleasant

Pros: Breakfast was great. Plenty of choices and delicious . Dinner was delicious. There was a choice of small meals or large. Beware the large - huge 😅😅 The room was spacious with dressing table, armchairs, cupboards etc Very comfortable bed and clean sheets etc. The whole room was clean.

Cons: The decor was very ‘tired’. Very old windows that were draughty. The bathroom was large but again it needed decorating. One of the windows in there was in a seriously bad state. There was a note to say please do not open the window. Certainly there was no need because the wind and rain came in on the last night. The window looked on the verge of falling out and from our point of view it was actually dangerous. When I told the receptionist about it she said if we’d called the night porter he would have fixed it. He’d have needed a miracle tool kit. This window has obviously been in that state for some time.

Pros: Lovely quiet spacious room with what was required. Shower was hot & great Rose head which is what I like. Breakfast was cooked fresh & beautiful. Only issue room was cold on arrival & told to turn on heating which they did to wake up cold as they probably turned it off around midnight. In February expect heating on all night to my liking. Had a stinking cold as it was.

Friendly staff, good location, reasonable prices, recommended.

Pros: Convenient location, plenty of room in the car park, pool table in the bar, friendly staff in bar, restaurant and reception.

Cons: Several steps to get to the top floor bedrooms, no lift.

Amazing from start to finish - will definitely stay again

Pros: Room was clean and tidy with everything you could ask for - breakfast was always served fresh and hot and the server is a lovely lady. We stumbled across karaoke in the bar on Wed Night - DJ was really friendly including us straight away, coming over to the table asking us to join in - I believe his name was Tony - such a lovely man

Cons: Dining area could be a little Cold - but it was December and nothing a cardigan didnt fix

Pros: Right in the centre of Camborne. Friendly staff Good breakfast Very comfortable

Cons: Room was showing signs of wear needs a bit of TLC

Pros: Its been tbe best hotel and central to Camborne for decades. The quality of the staff, food and welcome is always at a high level.

Cost effective, cosy and comfortable

Pros: Breakfast was excellent with a varied choice to suit all diets Rooms were very clean and the staff made our stay like home from home, very welcoming and friendly and a relaxed vibe throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Cons: Nothing bad to say

Just about perfect Hotel

Pros: room was great. bed was excellent. Lovely breakfast and evening meals and a nice pint to finish the day off. I stay at the Tyacks twice a year due to local family and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Cons: Heating comes on too late in evening but the room is soon walmed up
