Very good

Pros: It was a good base for the area I was touring. Well appointed room, continental breakfast good. Extensive bar /restaurant menu.

Pros: Everything we needed, good car parking, large room, fantastic breakfast, comfortable bed, highly recommend

Pros: Overall rating: 8/10 It could easily have been a 10 if it weren’t for the breakfast. The rooms were spotless and recently renovated. The furniture was simple but very tasteful, and the bathroom was spacious and extremely clean. Bed linen and towels were perfect, and the mattress was very comfortable. The rooms are located inside a beautiful, traditional British pub, which adds to the charm.

Cons: The main downside was breakfast. It was set up on a sideboard right by the entrance to the rooms. In the end it was fine — with cereals, bread, and jams — but unfortunately everything was pre-packaged. We were also disappointed to find there was no real breakfast service, especially since other reviews mentioned a great English buffet breakfast. Hot drinks were just the ones provided in the room. We ended up having breakfast in the pub garden, which made it more pleasant, but carrying everything up and down was not ideal.
