Excellent value for money.

Pros: The room was warm, comfortable and quiet. The bar was friendly with a good choice of beers. The food was delicious. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Portreath was a great little place with a beautiful beach.

Great value, great staff, great location

Pros: We were walking the SW coast path so didn't even have to deviate from the route. Our dog was absolutely spoilt - she loved her treats and ball... The staff were incredibly lovely, thanks to everyone 🙏

Cons: Only minor but the lights in the room could have been a bit brighter!

Lovey stay, comfy bed and fab breakfast

Excellent, and would definately recommend.

Pros: Excellent food at breakfast and evening meals x2. Management and staff great hosts, polite, courteous, very helpful. We went for a walk from St Agnes to Portreath in the rain and when we arrived back at the hotel was offered the use of their airing cupboard to dry our wet clothes. Little touches like that go along way.

Cons: Bed for me could have been a little less soft, but that's personal preference and probably ok for the majority of guests.

Great overnight while cycling Cornwall.

Pros: Good location for us, welcoming staff accommodated our cycles, lovely food and all good value. And decent ginger biscuits in the room (a bonus!).

Cons: Bit of out door chat in the evening so had to close window which I like open. It is a pub so only reasonable and nothing I would ever moan about. Very minor point.

Cons: Lots of stairs to the bedroom. Was a bit hard going for me with a stick. I should have checked. A lot of the menu was a bit fancy for us. Wasn't even sure what a lot of it was.
