The St Ives Bay Hotel

Second time there and each time was pleasant

Pros: Great location, super friendly staff, comfortable bed,

Cons: Breakfast was nice but for £12 if you book the night before, or £15 if you just turn up in the morning you don’t get much for your buck. Literally a full English I had 1 egg, 1 Sausage, 1 hash brown and 2 rashers of bacon with a pot of beans and half, yes half a mushroom.

Very nice day only for one night only we had booked longer friendly stuff beautiful location

Pros: The location was really nice. The views were out of this world.

Value for money!

Pros: The hotel is a little down at heel however the location and view makes it great value for money.

Cons: Corridors in dire need of a re-furb.

Lovely place!

Pros: Staff are always so friendly and we have stayed many times. Brilliant location but I would recommend a room with a sea view as the view is amazing. On our last stay the heating wasn't working in our room. I reported this and someone came straight away to try and fix the problem, it couldn't be fixed so we were promptly moved to a different room.

Cons: The walk back up the hill from the town! Seriously though any local taxi will take you up the hill for a small fee but the views on the walk back are stunning!

Pros: The hotel was very inexpensive..just before new year. We did not know what expect. But we were highly delighted. The room was large and overlooked the sea. The bathroom had a bath! It was in a great location.The staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Cons: The hotel is abit tired and needs decoration.

Stunning view and fabulous Staff and breakfast x

Pros: The view from our room was stunning and being able to open the patio door was wonderful. This over rode the weeds on the balcony and the dirty shower tray ( in and around the base). The Staff were fab especially the breakfast guy who topped up everything, everyone was so friendly.

Cons: It was very tired upstairs, container under roof window collecting leak on 2nd floor and it smelt musty. Dirty around shower tray BUT the view and Staff over rode all of this plus we know it's going to be updated as our trip was cut short.
