Great hotel , worth paying for the seaview

Pros: Beautiful room, lovely staff, great shower and omg the bed was so comfy! Really well equipped room,,all the extras on the tea tray that make the difference. Lovely guest lounge. Great view. Good parking. Bed was the best thing though, after a week on an awful mattress in a holiday cottage it was a blessed relief to sleep in such a good quality bed. I have a back injury, so for me a firm mattress that supports my spine is a game changer. If you like a soft saggy springy mattress you wont like it! Ate one evening in restaurant, food was very good, the evening chef really understands flavour, good portions too and lovely service. Beautiful comfortable restaurant.

Cons: Breakfast was a mixed bag. Continental was good, fresh and ample. Cooked brekkie was disappointing after the high quality food during evening service. The mushrooms and poached eggs were great, but let down by tasteless underipe tomatoes, bland beans, average bread and a very 80's veggie sausage! Such good veggie sausages available now, please try something like Cauldron sausages! Decide to skip it the next day and had scrambled eggs on toast instead, these eggs were delicious, with really good flavour. I dont think I would have been disappointed if the evening meal hadn't been so very good, it set the bar really high!

Pros: Friendly service. We were upgraded to a seaview which was lovely. Excellent food in the restaurant. Loved the night lights in the bathroom.

Great hotel in a lovely location.

Pros: Excellent hotel our third visit. Staff are lovely, very attentive and welcoming. Hotel is really clean and in good order, lounge area is lovely to sit in and have a game. Food is excellent, Sunday roast is fabulous as is the breakfast . Free parking on site. We will be back for a fourth visit, great place to stay.

Cons: Nothing, it ticks all the boxes.

Pros: Beautiful rooms with very comfy beds. Soft fluffy towels. Super shower with lovely guest toiletries. Little touches like having small lights automatically come on in the bathroom so no need to put the main on during the night. Staff were all super friendly and amazing breakfast too.

Fun and lots of laughs

Pros: Food is exceptional. All cooked beautifully and offer room service. Staff very polite and tend to all your needs.

Cons: The property itself was perfect, just not much to do around the area but buses run consistently.

Most pleasant staff and excellent location with beautifully cleaned and maintained rooms.

Pros: Room was so clean and well looked after. Everything worked.

Cons: Only one tiny little observation - radiator paint could do with a bit of attention

Beautiful hotel near to the sea

Pros: The hotel was lovely the rooms were very warm and cosy and beautifully decorated.

Pros: The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. The food is excellent, the cooked breakfast is to die for, fresh local ingredients delivered that very morning. The location is superb with parking out the back the bar has a good selection of drinks, We had a wonderful stay, I would love to stay again.

Pros: We booked this stay based on previous reviews and they were all spot on. Every aspect of our stay was so welcoming and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, evening meals were perfect and games and drinks by the open fire to finish a perfect day. Would 100% recommend and would rebook
