Excellent. Highly recommend.
Pros: Secluded, quiet, family and pet friendly. The rural vibes. You get a warm welcome with a freshly pressed apple juice. Ross is a cool fellow.
Cons: I like my toilet separate from the shower just so I donβt get wet using it but either than that excellent place.

Would definitely stay again.
Pros: Absolutely in the middle of nowhere. Very quiet and secluded overlooking fields Very good Wi-Fi and FreeviewTV. Comfortable and good kitchen facility
Cons: Nothing really not to like however my Lodge ( the only one ) was tucked in the corner and my hot tub was round the back which I found a little bit claustrophobic / the other front lodges had their Jacuzziβs at the side overlooking the fields.

Amazing place, amazing location
Pros: The place was amazing, relaxing, peaceful, and so well connected with nature. It has a fishing lake and it is so good for spending the time by the lake and if you like fishing it has nice fish in there too. The host, Ross, is very kind and helpful, any information I need he answered and helped me too. Very close to lydford national trust park just a little bit of driving, same for the beach. I highly recommend it .

It was a lovely break away from home in a lovely location. 5 stars!
Pros: The location was lovely and peaceful and the accommodation is basic but very cosy and provides everything that you need for a base. We really enjoyed our stay and loved using the hot tub, despite the terrible weather. The location is rural, and an odd choice for us considering we live rural. However, we do not live near the coast and having the ability to drive to the beach within 20 minutes was lovely. It was a home from home without all the domestic chores!
Cons: The shower was not very powerful. However, that's a personal preference! It was hot and it worked, so no complaints ;-)

Pros: Quite, chickens the dog. It's so peaceful and I would highly recommend I think this is our 4th time going for hubby's bday. And I definitely can't wait to go back. We took hubby's parents and they have already asked if they can come next time as well.
Cons: Having to leave the hot tub! It was so nice and relaxing.

Lovely family and friends weekend
Pros: We had a wonderful weekend at Avallon Lodges. The area is beautiful, quiet, the view from the window is very relaxing. We really liked the jacuzzi, we used it every day. Ross and his family are very nice and friendly. There is a small emergency self-service shop on the premises, ideal because our son forgot his toothbrush. We also found the bbq useful, which we could rent there. The cottage is very cozy, clean, very comfortable mattresses on all beds. We lacked nothing, it was like home. Close to the pond, where our daughter caught her first fish in her life. In Bude there are many places where you can walk, beautiful beach and views. We had wonderful weather. Our children aged 15 and 24 were very happy, we will definitely go back there. It was a wonderful family time for us.

A gem in the countryside
Pros: This is a small site with only 6 lodges, in a beautiful green location. A hidden gem in the countryside. Peaceful and quiet. Spotlessly clean location and the lodge was the same. All the basics you need with comfortable beds. The lodge was warm despite us not turning the heating on. Hot tub was a huge bonus, checked daily. There's a little 'shop' in a small shed at the entrance with basic necessities and an honesty box. If you like a bustling site this won't be for you. Following recommendation from the site owner we found the Stumble Inn, a short drive up the lane. Friendly service and great food. Avalon Lodges are a short drive to places like Tintagel, Boscastle, Bude etc.
Cons: Personally this ticked all the boxes. There wasn't anything I didn't like and I'd go back in a heartbeat. I would say that, if you're not used to country lanes, the route in and out is just that.
