We enjoyed our stay at The Heron.

Pros: Location is ideal being 200 steps from the main shopping st, all be it up quite a hill with some steps.

Cons: All is good. It’s not palatial but great for the ££.

We had a gorge stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

Pros: Wonderful location, v peaceful and quiet with gorgeous views. I loved that even during our heatwave weather the wet rooms heating remained on, this was a god send for drying kids towels and swim stuff without affecting the overall home temp.

Cons: There was a couple of crusty patches on the carpet in the living room, and small mould patch in the bedroom but this didn’t really bother us

Pros: Brilliant location and modern. 2 toilets and a sofa bed in the living room was a bonus. Washer/dryer was a brilliant bonus you don't always get. Good WiFi and Netflix. Small but functional kitchen. Comfortable bed with the mattress topper on.

Cons: Could do with a dehumidifier in the back bedroom. A small amount of black mould in the back bedroom. Difficult to solve as it's st ives and the back of the house is below street level.
