Olcote House

Pros: Very friendly and attentive hosts, really organised and super clean. We had an amazing time staying in Padstow!

Great place if you like a walk

Pros: We thought the room was great & the location was good for our stay in Padstow

Cons: We had no problem with breakfast taken in the room. We were disappointed with the quality of the breakfast as the bread/baps were not good quality. Also, if anyone has walking difficulties, then the location wouldn't be ideal for the walk into the centre as it is hilly in parts

Great stay will be back

Pros: The accommodation was lovely, ,clean and hosts ensured we had all we needed,and we're very helpful directing us to things to do and places to visit during our stay.Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice,you just had to request your preference.Hosts happy to interact/communicate before going out and coming back in the evening. Happy to recommend.

Cons: My only gripe would be for me was how extremely hilly Padstow in general was but the lodgings whilst superb were a bit too far for me to walk into town so had to use the car 🚗 which was a bit of a nuisance as we had hoped to keep the car parked at the Olcote for the duration of our stay.

Excellent hosts, breakfast, spotless room and good location.

Pros: Breakfast was delicious and good value for money. Served on a tray and consumed in your room which we found ideal. The walk into Padstow was steep in places but wasn’t a problem for us.

We loved our week in Padstow and would definitely stay at Olcote House again.

Very enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and made our short that more pleasurable.

Pros: Our room, aspect, cleanliness and facilities were excellent. Andy and Jane were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed meeting them very much.

Cons: My only suggestion would be to include a toast option on the breakfast menu for those of us that should eat an egg every day!

Pros: Hosts were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was immaculate, very good size, extremely comfortable bed and a great bathroom/shower. Breakfast on a tray in our room was excellent and off-road parking.

Cons: Nothing we didn’t like about the property. A few hilly bits walking to town, but nothing too bad.
