Samphire

Pros: Such a cozy space with everything you needed (and added extras) and exceptionally clean. Fabulous location. The self catered breakfast was plentiful and delicious, full of local produce. We will definitely be back. Easy check in (and the host let us check in earlier).

Cons: Liked everything.

Superb

Pros: Everything was superb. Beautiful room and the bathroom was exceptionally good with a bathtub and floor lighting.

Cons: Having to go home. I couldn't work the remote control for the TV but that's probably me.

Great bolt hole in Padstow.

Pros: Perfect location, lovely bathroom and comfortable bed.

Small but perfectly formed

Pros: What a great little apartment about 5 minute walk from the centre of Padstow, a small apartment that had everything you need for a short or longer stay, well appointed bedroom and bathroom and Breakfast supplied. The hosts were great and answered all our questions promptly. 100% recommended this great little apartment.

Cute cosy stay, great location

Pros: We stayed here for one night and it was perfect location for a short walk to the high street. Nice quiet location, very cosy and really comfortable bed. The options for breakfast were great!

Fabulous place

Pros: It was well appointed, very comfortable bed. Fab bathroom with shower and bath. Loved how the floor lit up when you walked in.Lovely seating area, nice big tv. Nice warm room and spotlessly clean. Breakfast left for us. Cant wait till we return..

What could be better?

Pros: Everything! Wonderfully furnished. Loved the attention to detail, right down to the local Cornish tea. Comfortable bed. The dance floor bathroom was a delightful and quirky surprise and a treat to have a bath. Great location. Really enjoyed the deer around the corner. We would highly recommend.

Cons: The only hassle is parking. Free parking is very limited but you can temporarily park outside to drop off. We appreciated the efficiency with which we were greeted however would have liked a bit of a chat. We enjoy the meeting people aspect of our holidays.

A wonderful short break at Samphire in Padstow - we will be back.

Pros: We liked everything about Samphire. It truly exceeded our expectations, tucked away as it is five minutes’ walk from the harbour up the quiet High Street. The room was incredibly well decorated and the bathroom was amazing with modern shower and bath. The large sleigh bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our first morning and had to rush to get down to the harbour to catch the ferry to Rock. The breakfast supply of items was more than ample with cereals, fresh eggs, bread, jams etc - I dare you to try the egg boiler / poacher just don't put in too much water unless you like hard eggs!! One wonderful point is when we found a China teapot for making our tea as I dislike tea made in a cup. We were able to catch Jane on our last morning and had a lovely chat and were able to thank her for our lovely stay.

Cons: THere was absolutely nothing to fault about Samphire. The only issue as with all of the cottage accommodation in Padstow is that of parking. We were able to park three minutes walk away up by Prideau Place and left our car there for the duration of our stay.

A great place to stay xx

Pros: It was very clean and our hosts could not go out of their way to accommodate us. Did like all the food bits they left out each morning . Would definitely stay there again.
