Pros: Nicky was very helpful and friendly, we didn't get to the property until quite late but she came out to greet us. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night instead of the two we had booked and left early the next morning so couldn't sample the breakfast or relax! The bed was comfortable and the room spacious.

Excellent. With a friendly owner. We will go back there.

Pros: From first to last, everything was top notch. Nicky was the consummate host: supremely well organised yet discreet, thoughtful, flexible and attentive. Everything from ample supplies of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits, high quality toiletries and fresh towels were supplied and replenished when necessary. An exceptional choice of breakfast was served in a comfortable dining / communal lounge area using really tasty locally sourced produce. My room and adjacent shower room were both really well appointed. It was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. My dog cookie was made very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed her stay. She had the run of two spacious fields and really appreciated the breakfast treat each morning. The property is very conveniently situated to explore the North Cornwall coast and countryside.

Cons: That I’d only booked 3 nights.

A truly quintessential British B&B

Pros: A truly quintessential British B&B – the way they all should be. Even before we arrived the communication was there already making you feel welcome. Every detail was thought of, not just for us but for the dog too, who was utterly spoiled with his very own morning sausage and endless space to roam in the beautiful gardens and private, securely fenced fields. The breakfasts are unforgettable – even after completing our road trip through Cornwall and Bath, nothing has come close to the one we had here. The location is perfect as well, with everything just an easy drive away and nothing ever feeling far. Our stay ended far too soon, and leaving was genuinely sad. We’ve already planned our return for our next trip in this direction – it’s absolutely worth the detour.

A wonderful 4 days. We will be back!

Pros: Very clean with great amenities set in beautiful location and Nicky is a perfect host. We loved it! Also, dogs made very welcome!

Pros: A fabulous stay, warm welcome lovely room. Wonderful breakfast. Not ensuite bathroom but almost and everything else made up for that. I hope to return at some point.
