Meadow Oak Accommodation

Great base for exploration

Pros: Very helpful owner who picked me up from the station which is 5 miles out of town! The rental includes a continental breakfast and ebikes so you can use local cycle paths

Cons: No overhead shower, only handheld- but a great massage bath!

Pros: This was not the room we stayed in, but the other room decor grey with the spa bath and white towels.. Our room was slightly bigger and very airy and bright. The room was clean with an extra single bed and a little area to make light refreshments. A welcome pack to Cornwall with things to do.. Bed sheets were clean and bed comfy as we slept well. The view of the hills over yonder from the back window overlooking side part of the garden was stunning, real meadow. I sat in the garden on a nice, sunny day, and it was so tranquil with the enclosed beautiful area. Would recommend staying as ideal to Bodmin Leisure Centre and a nice 20-minute walk or 5 min drive to Bodmin High Street in its good location. Our Host Eric was attentive and will keep in contact for future bookings.

If I had to give a negative opinion, it would be Brito close to a main road , but that’s the only negative opinion

The place to stay in Cornwall

Pros: Great host, great place, responsive host. Would recommend 100%. Center of Cornwall, everything around is close by.

Pros: Cozy room, perfect for 2 adults and a child, everything very clean. There was breakfast included where a selection of cereals, milk, and coffee were offered. The location was perfect for our plans. Eric, the host was very friendly. In summary, was a lovely stay. Thank you very much Eric.

Fantastic stay at Meadow Oak

Pros: Room was clean and comfortable with extra blankets and pillows if you needed them. Ensuite also very clean with towels and face towels provided. Plenty of plug sockets including ones by the bed which is always useful. Tea/coffee/sugar provided in the room with a kettle, which we definitely appreciated first thing in the morning! The host, Eric, is very welcoming and thoughtful with the smaller details. Lots of leaflets and information on Cornwall which is handy if you're not a local. Each room has their own set of crockery and cutlery in the communal area which was a nice touch. There are also electric bikes available to borrow which we unfortunately didn't get the chance to use, but is a great idea!

Cons: Very minor things - Hot tub not available during our stay, which we were advised of when arriving. We weren't planning to use it so it didn't affect our visit, but may have been disappointing to other visitors. Room was a great size for a couple, but would be quite a squeeze for a family which it is also advertised for.

Pros: The host was very helpful and accommodating. He has evem offered breakfast cereals and toasts if wanted eventhough they are not included in the price.
