The Slipway B&B

The Slipway B&B is a Grade II listed building that dates back to 1527 and is located opposite Port Isaac harbour. It features adults-only B&B accommodation with Restaurant & Bar on the ground floor with an outdoor terrace. All of the bedrooms have small en-suite bathrooms and some have panoramic sea views of Port Isaac harbour. Two rooms feature village views. The loft suite features a king-size bed and a small living area and a bathroom with a bath. The Restaurant specialises in local seafood has also a selection of non-seafood, vegetarian options are available and variety of drinks. It also serves Cornish cream teas and a range of scones, cakes and sandwiches made to order. Please check opening times as these may vary. The Restaurant and Bar is open daily from 12-7pm Please note there are no parking facilities by the B&B, you are welcome to drop off your luggage if you arrive earlier. The walk from and to the car park might take anything between 5-20minutes depending on physical stamina and might be difficult for older and disabled persons. In summer check-in time is between 4pm and 6pm, in winter between 2pm and 4pm. Breakfast is included in the price and provided between 8.30am and 10.30am. Check-out 10am. A full buffet and cooked breakfast will be available. The closest train station is Bodmin Parkway. You will require to pre-book a taxi to get to Port Isaac. Places of interest include Tintagel Castle is 10.2 miles away, Boscastle is 12.6 miles and Newquay Cornwall Airport is 21 miles away.

Wonderful Mini Break!

Pros: From the moment we arrived, the welcome was amazing. Our room was spotless, cosy, with a wonderful view. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the staff couldn't have been nicer. On our journey there, our car broke down during storm Barm and they allowed us to stay for an extra few hours, in our room, in order to wait for our lift home. Thank you to all..we'll definitely be back!

Pros: Staff were really friendly, and i felt very welcome and at home, important when travelling alone. Enjoyed the food, local, fresh, hot and imaginative. Going to slerp to the lapping waves a special joy.

Cons: A bedside table would have been nice, or small shelf.

Delightful stay in charming village; rooms, breakfast and staff at The Slipway were all top notch.

Pros: Breakfast was delicious, and was served by exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Room was perfectly clean, and the location could not have been better - right in the heart of the village, overlooking the water. Delightful stay.

Amazing hidden gem

Pros: Loved the quaint location right in the centre of the village and the history that came with this property. Surrounded by beautiful houses, pubs & gift shops. If you’re a Doc Martin fan you’ll pinch yourself that you’re actually there and explored all the Doc Martin locations. Breakfast was fantastic.
