Tate Five Penthouse apartment with panoramic views of St Ives

Loved it.

Pros: Lovely apartment, clean, well equipped, with lovely views. Host was very informative with info before our arrival, and really helped us out with our luggage on our depart day, very much appreciated.

A lovely apartment with great views.

Pros: Clean, airy, well presented, lovely views, everything available for self catering. Having two bathrooms was great! The early morning view of the sunrise through the bedroom window was stunning!

Cons: Not dislikes but points to note. The bedroom ceiling slopes over one side of the bed and clothes storage area, so caution is required. I have suggested that this could be helped by making some storage drawers available on the other side of the room The flat is on the third floor and has a lift which was useful. However, on foot the terrace is accessed by a steep road and steps and without taking a car everywhere (not practical in St Ives) it may be difficult for those with limited mobility. Caution needed as the entrance to the the driveway leading to the garage is uneven with a pothole. This was reported, to be investigated and hopefully rectified.

Pros: Location superb giving easy walking distance to the many beaches and facilities within iconic St Ives. Accommodation was well thought out with beautiful views of the sea, beaches and town.

Cons: Access a bit tricky but worth the effort.

Pros: * Excellent view * great location (close to beaches, backery, restaurants,...) * good staffed kitchen

Cons: * a bit more on the expensive side I would say * noise from the hallway easily hearable in the whole appartment

New Year’s Eve a lovely stay, views so good we wanted to stay in!

Pros: Location, views of the sea, layout, clean, comfortable. Beautiful flat.

Cons: Could not control the heating very easily, but once on it was fine. Lift did not work when we stayed. Could not use parking space.
