Primrose House St. Ives

Great boutique hotel .. great spot for beach and town

Pros: Great location ..modern and bright hotel. Very comfortable room and facilities . Great breakfast , fresh and made to order.

Lovely boutique hotel with comfortable room and good breakfast.

Pros: The hotel is lovely and our room (6) on the top floor was very stylish and comfortable with a balcony that overlooked the beach, Good shower, nice toiletries, plenty of tea and coffee. Breakfasts were well cooked. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Private parking for hotel guests. Easy walk along the path above the beach into the town. Receptionist (Ferg) at the sister hotel, The Harbour, was very kind trying to find us somewhere to eat when we arrived late on the Thursday evening.

Cons: To get to the hotel you have to drive down Primrose Valley which is very steep and narrow. Luckily we didn't meet anyone coming the other way during our stay; if you do the convention is the car coming sown has priority so if you are going up you'd have to back down to the bottom! St Ives was picturesque. Lots of restaurants but be careful they shut early out of season. The staff at The Hub were great and rescued our Thursday evening.

Cons: The only little negative was the noise of other guest using water , the system was very noisy

Pros: Lovely place to stay, comfortable, clean modern contemporary feel.staff great

Cons: I didn't like the drive to get to the property or the parking, that's only me though. It's very typical of the narrow roads of the area. They send you a video before you stay which is very good. So if you don't feel comfortable with the option, the railway station offers an excellent alternative that is very close by.

Pros: Stayed in the studio pod which was quirky and fun! Perfect location, close to the beach and the on-site parking makes it a real St Ives gem!

Me and my partner throughly enjoyed are stay it was a perfect night away we will definitely be coming back again.

Pros: Perfect location not to far from the town centre. Lovely spacious room very clean and tidy. The breakfast was really nice too and the staff were amazing.

Cons: If I was to be very picky the bed could have been a bit comfier and more pillows in the room if you wanted to put extra on the bed.
