Grey Mullet Guest House

Relaxing and calm.

Pros: It was very clean, comfortable and right on the beach front.

Cons: I liked all of it.

We really enjoyed staying at the Grey Mullet.

Pros: Has the charm of the traditional cottage, fantastic view and central location, 2 minutes to the beach and all restaurants and bars alongside.

Another great stay! Highly recommend.

A very central stay in St Ives.

Pros: Very central. Good location. Owner was very nice and helpful. Very good communication pre arrival. Room was clean and bedding was good. Tea and coffee and biscuits were provided.

Cons: Carpet was stained in places that made the room feel a little downbeat. Walls were thin so you could hear conversations from other guests. Bathroom area was very small.

Pros: The building itself has plenty of character and charm. The room was spacious and well-equipped, providing all the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay. Located on the top floor, it was quiet and offered a lovely view of the harbour. A special mention goes to Ken, who was a warm and welcoming host—he made sure we had all the information we needed upon arrival.

Cons: The hot water tap in the bathroom wasn't functional.

Friendly host, lovely location

Pros: Location was perfect being only minutes away from the harbour and a variety of restaurants, eateries and attractions. Our host was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable; recommending a plethora of breakfast, lunch and dinner options as well as attractions to see. The room was lovely, with a sea view of the harbour and kept in impeccable condition. Thank you for a lovely stay, Alex and Gracie

Pros: Everything! A quaint traditional guest house in a superb location with all the amenities you need. Ken the host is just awesome!

Pros: We had a very pleasant stay at The Grey Mullet. The accommodation is a little bit tired in decor, however our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable - we had everything we needed and lots of biscuits which was a bonus! The location is perfect and if you want a peaceful nights sleep in the heart of St Ives, this is a great spot. Ken was on hand to welcome us and is an unobtrusive and welcoming host, thank you for a very nice stay.

St ives

Pros: The location is fantastic, very close to all amenities. Hosts were lovely and very informative. Room 4 had a great sea view.

Cons: The bathroom is very tiny. The cushions on the seats provided needed to be replaced..

Pros: The location of the hotel was excellent and very close to the harbour, shops, bars and restaurants. The room was small and basic, but comfortable and clean. The guest house is a very old building and although it could do with a revamp this would probably take way some of the charm. Ken welcomed us on arrival and was informative when providing information about the guest house and local area.

Cons: It was a bit of a trek to the long stay car park especially with luggage etc, but we was aware that there was no onsite parking when we booked. The room was probably a bit expensive for what it was but we booked last minute so was limited on places to stay and understand that it was high season.
