Lovely stay in St Ives
Pros: Location, location, location! A nice room in an old cottage that was right in the center of everything and right by the sea. A friendly welcome from the knowledgeable host, and a decent night's sleep, untroubled by the sound of seagulls!
Cons: Nothing really. It was a bit dated and dusty, but still comfortable.

Great place to stay in St Ives
Pros: The location is great, in the heart of St Ives. Ken, the host, was really lovely and communication went well. The room is rather small, and perhaps a bit worn out, but that's part of the charm. In the end, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean, so what else do you need?
Cons: We had a room next to the entrance, at street level, which was a bit noisy.

A wonderful place to stay, but we would request a different room next time! Ken contributed immensely to our enjoyment o
Pros: A very old building with some beautiful touches. Its location couldnβt be better. Just a few steps to the harbour and Fore Street with easy access to many shops, restaurants, beaches and many amenities - and yet tucked away in a quiet side street. Ken, our host, was charming and most accommodating.
Cons: Because it is a listed building, clearly there were limitations to its conversion to guest accommodation with en suites. Therefore I would not wish to criticise. However, the room we were allocated was very small and cramped with a tiny window and no air conditioning of any kind. In a heatwave, this was quite uncomfortable. I know there are better rooms so I guess we were just unlucky. The shower curtain was rather grubby and a bit off putting, otherwise all was spotless. Unfortunately the toilet suffered a malfunction during our stay, but was immediately rectified by the emergency plumber being summoned without delay. Whilst tea and coffee facilities were provided, we were surprised there were no glasses for water - just a couple of flimsy disposable ones ( easily knocked over!) . Whilst there is no room cleaning or bed making during a guestβs stay, to be honest we didnβt mind that.

Pros: Great location.. small room but very clean and well presented.. Host met us on arrival to hand over keys (after we rang him from the train station).. in a quaint street close to warf, shops and eateries..great stay
Cons: Could add fan for hot nights to help cool the room, a mini fridge in lounge to keep drinks cold and TV (in lounge area)

This accomodation is an excellent choice with the perfect location in St. Ives.
Pros: The location was excellent, right in the centre of everything. Room felt comfrotable and designed in a traditional style. The host was very kind and helpful. Enough resources like teas, toilet rolls or buscuits whenever you needed them.
Cons: Not a negative, but you have to mind if you have heavy suitcases or mobility issues that this is a traditional English house, so there are only stairs.
