Spacious apartment with spectacular views

Pros: The location is perfect - right on the quay side with beautiful vantage point of the estuary. We stayed in the 2 bed room apartment which was was spacious, elegantly furnished and a well equiped kitchen.

Cons: The TV didn't work. The very helpful staff tried to mend it without luck. Not a major issue as it meant we simply spent more time taking in the views!

Lovely stay

Pros: The room was lovely and a good size, location in Fowey was great. Right on the harbour, with a good selection of pubs and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The breakfast was really nice, great selection and cook to order. The staff where amazing, very polite and friendly.

Cons: Didn't realise when I booked, that parking was issue outside the premises and in Fowey itself. They recommend that you park in a long stay car park, about half a mile from the premises. You can park outside, to drop your stuff off, if there's space. I can imagine in the summer months this will be a problem. The streets in Fowey are very narrow. Probably the narrowest street's I've ever driven in. To get to your room you have to walk around the side of the building, then up some step steps. So if you have some mobility issues I wouldn't recommend it.

Perfect hotel, and second to none on location, can't wait to return!

Pros: Second to none for central fowey town location. Amazing views from restaurant/out front of the rooms. Hotel is really well decorated, lovely modern warm feel. I had the twin room as i stayed alone, room was very spacious and stunning decor, clean modern bathroom with huge shower. Great views from the skylight windows. Teas/coffees/biscuits etc all presented on the table, including coffee machine and pods, milk sachets etc. Cannot fault this hotel. I will 110% be revisiting again in the hopefully not so distant future. Also the restaurant has exceptional food, at reasonable prices definitely worth a visit. Can't wait to return

Fab friendly Fowey hotel.

Pros: Fantastic property in the heart of Fowey. Fab food. (Dinner and breakfast was first class. The mussels for starter were maybe the best I’ve ever had.) Super friendly staff. Only downside was that we could only stay for one night! Will be back.

Cons: Worth mentioning if you drive to the property that the overnight parking available is a 10 minute walk away. So if you have kids/lots of luggage - drop this off first and then go and park.

Great hotel and wonderful staff!

Pros: Lovely greeting from the staff. We arrived early and allowed to check in because the room was ready. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the food was lovely. Breakfast on both morning were also great.

Cons: We didn't realise the rooms were at the back of the hotel, no internal entrance! Because of the bad weather ( Storm Chandra ) it was a matter of running to the back entrance, then having to put the keycode in to the gate, i might add, in the dark it was hard to read the keycode numbers, a light above would help! Then an external set of stairs. We would definitely visit again, but not in the winter. The other small issue was the doors from bedroom to bathroom were very very squeaky, and in the middle of the night it woke the other partner up!

Friendly welcoming staff, beautiful rooms, great restaurants.

Pros: The location was fantastic. So much to see and do. The decor, layout was beautiful. The restaurant staff were lovely. The food was affordable and to a great standard. The second time I have been here and still it’s one of my most favourite places.

Cons: Everything was fabulous.

Really enjoyed my short visit for work - would love to come back for leisure with the family.

Pros: Visiting on business, I had room 5 which is a cosy space in the roof eaves. Beautifully decorated and very well appointed (coffee machine, kettle, iron). The wifi was good throughout the hotel at 24Mbps download. Staff made me very welcome and accommodated my need for a self-service early breakfast.

Cons: Beds were softer than I like. Fixtures in the room and bathroom were in need of light maintenance (loose / falling tiles). The access to the room was tricky if you have heavy bags or mobility issues - up several flights of stairs and narrow corridors.

Great location, room, staff, breakfast

Pros: Room was lovely, tea facilities great, nice space, lovely staff. Breakfast is lovely, freshly cooked to order with a great view of the estuary.

Cons: No blind in the bathroom which was a bit unnerving as the window was above the steps people use to enter the building. Loved fresh berries at breakfast but would have been nice to have yoghurt to go with it. But these are just minor issues, the place is lovely and I have stayed before and will stay again

November stay

Pros: We stayed one November night in Room number 3. Excellent view, cosy and warm room, very clean. Absolutely great breakfast, fresh and well presented, delicious. Everyone was really pleasant. We parked at Caffa Mill car park for 24 hours, which was very convenient. Really enjoyed our stay at Haveners, Fowey.

Cons: There wasn't anything we disliked
