Lovely staff, comfortable room, and excellent in room facilities

Pros: The room was lovely and had little touches that made it extra special. Like an OS map in the room that you could use for the duration of your stay. Very comfortable room, nice bathroom, and nice products in the shower. Teas, coffees and biscuits in the room. For someone that travels regularly for work all of these little touches are a big plus for me. the breakfast is included and a nice breakfast with a good selection of items and a hot menu.

Cons: Our room was a little noisy as is above the taproom next door. It didn't bother us too much as we went down to the bar to join in! It's more a warning if you like a quieter room at night, I woulds request this upon booking.

Excellent service, amazing food, beautiful interiors, great guest experience.

Pros: Food was imcredible, lots of choice & high quality. Generally staff were great, helpful, friendly & attentive. Interior finishes are beautiful, stylish & well-thought out for the guest experience with the most comfortable beds. Extra touches like bags in room & outdoor robes for use were a nice surprise.

Cons: Nothing - was all great.

Pros: This was the best value for money we have ever had. It would still be good value at twice the price. Exceptionally clean and comfortable with good quality toiletries and complementary stuff. The breakfast was superb. All the staff were so helpful. Next time we come to Cornwall we'll make sure we stay again.

Cons: My own fault, I only booked for one night. Next time it will be longer.

Birthday present for my son

Pros: This booking was a present for my son and his girlfriend. They said that the room was beautiful.

Cons: Sadly my son and his girlfriend waited 2 hours for there evening meal, as the tablet that they ordered the food on did not send the order through. They did say the meal was lovely.
