Lovely hotel and staff, we would definitely stay again!

Pros: The room was lovely. Spacious even with the sofa bed made up, clean and modern. The bathroom was clean and seemed new. The staff were absolutely great, very accommodating and happy to help. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant was lovely too.

Perfect for a night stop over with my kids

Pros: Food was great and staff were very attentive and friendly. Room was huge and bed was comfy.

Very nice stay for New Year's Eve

Pros: The room was cosy and big enough, the bathroom very clean. Even though the room was facing the main road, it wasn't loud. We arrived by train, later were switching to a bus, and a bus stop is close to the hotel, so it's very convenient if you don't have a car. The restaurant has a nice menu, big portions. Many breakfast options, tasty porridge. If you want to visit Eden Project, it's a 50-mins walk from the hotel / alternatively you can catch a bus on the way back.

Cons: The only thing that can be improved is adding more vegetarian options to the menu.

Very enjoyable couple of days

Pros: Excellent staff, all very focussed on making the stay enjoyable. Good, clean well maintained facilities. The menu is not wide but all dishes we had or saw during our 3 day visit were very well presented, fresh and hot. The room was very good, well appointed, warm (January) and well lit.

Cons: A bit of noise from the road but it didn't stop us sleeping.

A proper pub experience with a breakfast that you would look forward to every day.

Pros: The location to visit the Eden Project and the rest of Cornwall. A great bar to sit and drink local ales with a good atmosphere. Also a reasonably priced restaurant with a decent menu. But the star of the show was the breakfast. They have managed to beat any breakfast that I have had so far with superb quality ingredients but also the presentation.

Cons: For the price that we paid, nothing.
